Delivering help when it is needed the most

Lakeview Industries has shifted to fully dedicate our business operations to produce single-use PPE plastic face shields for people on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic response.

In just six days, Lakeview moved from idea to a product sample to production, making face shields to aid the medical community and other essential workers. Our flexible manufacturing infrastructure allows us to produce and ship up to 300,000 face shields per day.

To date, Lakeview has shipped more than 5 million disposable face shields to healthcare workers and other essential workers on the front lines of the global pandemic. The company has orders to produce more than 3 million more face shields to aid those in need.

This business pivot has enabled us to retain our 85 full-time employees and create jobs for 120 temporary employees. Lakeview has also partnered with six other Minnesota manufacturing organizations and volunteers to support and meet the growing demands for production and shipping of the PPE plastic face shields.

Lakeview Industries has donated more than 40,000 face shields to organizations and healthcare workers across the country. The Minnesota Sheriffs Association received 30,000 disposable face shields from Lakeview to protect the local law enforcement on the frontline of COVID-19. The company has also made donations in Missouri in support of local medical professionals and law enforcement.

“We are extremely grateful to have the infrastructure, flexibility and tireless commitment from employees and partners to seamlessly help at a critical time,” said John Schwanke, president, Lakeview Industries.
